Learning about yourself can be in multiple different ways. During conversations, reflections but also at an personality test.

During the first block, we had to do an online personality test to find out what your personality is and what this means to you.

During the online test that I did on 16personalities.com I found out that I am a Protagonist. My first thought was, huh? What is that. Below my results, you could find an explanation of what it is and what this means.

Let me explain. On the website you could find the explanation of a protagonist. The exact explanation is ‘A Protagonist (ENFJ) is a person with the extraverted, intuitive, feeling and judging personality traits. These warm, forthright types love helping others, and they tend to have strong ideas and values. They back their perspective with the creative energy to achieve their goals. They describe the strengths as tolerant, reliable, charismatic, altruistic and natural leaders. They describe the weaknesses as overly idealistic, too selfless, too sensitive , fluctuating self-esteem and struggle to make tough decisions. And let me say, this is really true. When I asked my mother about how she thought about these point she was, the same as myself, surprised about how much this personality fitted to me. When I read the whole article, I was surprised about the result, but also happy that this gave me some new insights on how I think in certain situations and how I come op with the decisions that I take. The personality test can help me with making decisions in the future and help me with my progress as a professional sports worker because in order to help other people, you first have to understand yourself and know who you are.
